SUMMARY:
Bids were received on July 31 for the relocation of water and sewer on Cox Ave. in preparation for the road project to be constructed by TDOT.  The low bid was Danson Construction in the amount of $108,390.40. The Engineer has reviewed references and recommends the project be awarded to Danson Construction, Inc.
The sewer line has been bid to include the full length of the road, inside and outside the city limits. The cost for the sewer line installation outside the City boundary is $7,500 and is part of $108,390.40. It is recommended by the Director of Engineering that this portion of the line be installed as part of this project and that sewer service only be made available to properties inside the City's boundary.
