SUMMARY: Prior to the work session starting last week, the Police Chief and City Attorney discussed actions the Police Department could take to deter trespassers on City owned property. City Attorney Randy York requested to add an item to the agenda to be discussed under Other Business the following week.
The City owns property on Webb Avenue. The Police Chief has reported a problem with trespassers camping on the property. City Attorney Randy York recommended action to allow the Police Department to barricade all the entrances, post “No Trespassing” signs, and prosecute trespassers.
