SUMMARY: Jan’s Wine & Liquor store is proposing a new building located at the corner of West Avenue and Central Avenue, next door to Farm Bureau. New utility connections are proposed as well as a new wide driveway access along Central. An inlet catch basin is proposed due to the width of the driveway being greater than 40 feet. There is an existing ingress/egress driveway that crosses the site for Farm Bureau.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the site plan, pending the update and submittal showing the required sewer easement and an approved stormwater structure. A Filter Berm is shown on the site, however the Crossville Stormwater Department has not approved a berm and will be requiring a detention type structure. They have been in contact with the design engineers and have been assured that a new site plan will be submitted showing the correct and approved structure. Staff will update the Planning Commission at the meeting.
