Ordinance amending FY21-22 budget-DUI Police Trailer

SUMMARY: The Tennessee Highway Patrol has received a grant on the City’s behalf to purchase a DUI trailer.  This grant is for $25,500 and will be reimbursed to the City.  The City currently has a DUI trailer purchased through the same process in 2004.  The old one will be returned to the granting agency. 

BUDGET ACCOUNT: Budget amendment is necessary for this purchase.  Debit 110-42100-730 GHSO Grant for $25,500 and to credit 110-33411 Tn Hwy safety grant for $25,500.

Recommended Action

NECESSARY COUNCIL ACTION: Approve budget amendment and purchase of the trailer.
