Interstate Drive Extension Alignment Study

SUMMARY: The City of Crossville has hired an engineering firm to conduct an alignment study for phases 2 and 3 of the Interstate Drive extension project. Plans are currently underway for phase 1. A copy of the study is attached, and a brief presentation will be made at the meeting. The roadway extension is represented on the City’s existing Major Thoroughfare Plan.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff will be asking for a vote of support for the need of the project. It would not be a formal action vote, but one confirming that the project would be good for the community and needed now and even more so in the future.
