SUMMARY:  Recommend low bid of $15,813.00 from Bennett Industries for aluminum covers.  This was originally bid as a deductive alternate of the recent UV project.  Taking the deduction of $45,000 from the original bid and bidding separate has resulted in a $29,187 savings to the City of Crossville.  Covers are needed to prevent algae growth in the disinfection structure.
