Ordinance approving the abandonment of right-of-way for a portion of Donnelly Place

SUMMARY: The Crossville Regional Planning Commission approved a preliminary plat for the developer of Genesis Plaza at their February 2026 meeting. The developer has requested for the right-of-way to be abandoned so they may extend the road and install a cul-de-sac. Once this Ordinance passes 3rd reading, Planning Commission intends to accept a letter of credit for the extension and installation of the cul-de-sac and approve the final plat to be recorded. The developer is requesting the abandonment of the right-of-way for the hammerhead turn-around and for the existing right-of-way to be joined back to their property, listed as Tax Map 87 Parcel 92.00.
