SUMMARY:
The City was successful in requesting grant funds from the State to replace the current taxiway and runway lighting system at the airport. With the attached contract, they are offering $450,000 in federal funds, $25,000 in state funds, and $25,000 in local funds. Originally, we expected it to be a 90/10 budget with the City's share being $50,000. However, they were able to utilize both state and federal funds to reduce the city's cost.
