SUMMARY:
The project in Cumberland Cove and additional areas covered in Change Order #1 is now complete. The attached change order adjusts the contract to actual quantities used in the project. These adjustments results in a decrease in the contract of $200,236.75.
The final costs for construction, engineering, and other related costs totaled approximately $3,779,638.45. The City received $3,063,767.50 from the Cumberland Cove POA. With an estimate of $80,000 in tap fees, the City's final cost should be around $635,870.95 for over 60 miles of water line and pump stations. This cost is being paid through a low-interest loan from Rural Development.
