Verizon Wireless Small Cell Install, 127S near CMC

SUMMARY: Verizon Wireless is proposing the installation of a Small Cell deployment pole across from CMC located on HWY 127S. Per the existing city ordinance, the Planning Commission must review and approve before a building permit can be issued.
Since this structure is proposed within TDOT ROW, TDOT requires a review and approval of the local municipality. The recommendation of the Planning Commission will also be forwarded to Verizon to be used as the City’s review and approval of the plan.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the building permit and the recommendation to be forwarded to TDOT.
