SUMMARY:  The certified tax rate has been received from the Assessor of Property.  The new rate is $0.53.  Council needs to discuss if there is interest in holding a public hearing at the July meeting for retaining the tax rate at $0.55.

NECESSARY COUNCIL ACTION:  Determine if there is interest in holding a public hearing at the July 10^th Council meeting on adopting a tax rate different from the certified rate of $0.53.
