Approval of TDOT contract for Tree Obstruction Removal

SUMMARY: TDOT is developing a standard contract for the Obstruction Removal Project. The contract will be for $555,600 grant funds. This contract will not include $110,000 of the grant funds from the Federal Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The BIL monies should be made available in the next 120 days.
Staff recommends the approval of the contract so the Contractor can start the obstruction clearing.
If the BIL grant is not received in time or is not approved the City would be responsible for the additional cost of the project.
