Discussion regarding approval of Taxi Way Lighting Rehab Engineering Contract

SUMMARY: The City has a master agreement with Neel Schaffer, Inc. to perform airport engineering related work. A task order is attached for the Engineering of the Taxi Way Lighting Rehab project. This task order covers all work from the start through the bidding phase of the project. It does not include any construction administration.
The Director of Engineering recommends the approval of the task order in the lump sum amount of $208,290.00 contingent on a TDOT grant contract being approved with TDOT funding 95% of the engineering services. A budget amendment is not necessary for this work because a majority of the work will be completed in the next fiscal year.
