Discussion and action regarding audits

SUMMARY: Government entities are required to have an audit performed by a third party yearly. Currently, the City of Crossville has a contract with Waycaster to perform an audit yearly. Their proposal submitted during the City’s previous bid for an auditor is attached for review. Waycaster also has an hourly rate.
The Sports Authority of the City of Crossville must select a firm to perform their audit. Direction will need to be given to either request proposals for this service or to hire Waycaster to perform the Sports Authority’s audit.
