SUMMARY: The Street Department Manager obtained and reviewed bids for a leaf vac. He recommends purchasing the leaf vac from the highest bidder, CMI Equipment Sales, Inc. in the amount of $69,500. The bid received from Jet Vac Equipment CO LLC did not meet specifications. This equipment was budgeted for and approved in the 2022-23 budget. However, the purchase will require a budget amendment.
