SUMMARY: For planning purposes, development of the Airport Layout Plan relies heavily on determining an airport’s existing critical aircraft, which is defined as the most demanding aircraft that uses the airport. Determination of the critical aircraft is accomplished by counting aircraft operations. TDOT Aeronautics is offering a grant for the purchase and administrative reporting services to determine the critical aircraft. Staff requests approval to apply for the grant in the amount of $56,960 with a local match of 5%.
