Matters relative to 2014 Airport Open House/Fly In Funding

A vote to fund the 2014 Airport Open House / Fly In needs to take place. The year 2014 marks the 80^th Anniversary of Crossville Memorial Airport. This event will be planned for September.  Because of scheduling aircraft, vendors, etc., Council's approval is needed at this time.

BUDGET ACCOUNT:

$18,000.00 would be placed in the 2014/2015 budget to cover the expenses.  This amount will also cover Public Works, Police Dept., and Fire Dept. costs for their time in assisting with this event.

Recommended Action

Because of scheduling aircraft, vendors, etc., a vote is requested by the City Council at this time.
