SUMMARY: The Crossville Police Department is requesting approval to purchase Airsoft Training Equipment from Para Frog in amount of $9,228. These weapons will be used in active shooter and realistic firearm simulation. As noted the department tries to make training as realistic as possible to allow each officer the ability to react if and when those situations arise.
BUDGET ACCOUNT: These items will require a budget amendment but will be funded from monies received from the sale of confiscated and seized weapons over the last three years. The monies were awarded to the department and as per Judge's order must be used for department training.
