Matters relative to TLD/TCAT commercial drivers' education facilities

SUMMARY: TLD Logistics Services has a need to provide training for drivers to assist them in getting their CDL licenses. They are requesting a Truck Driver Training Course from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. They are requesting a short-term lease from the City of a 3 acre tract at the industrial park for the hands-on training and culvert and rock for access. The lease would be subject to the sale of the property or for the building of a spec building upon a 90 day Notice of Cancellation.
A report will be available at the meeting on the estimated costs for the improvements on the property.
