SUMMARY: The Police Department applied for and received a grant from the Small, Rural, and Tribal Law Enforcement Agency in the amount of $43,000 with local match being $43,000. This amount will be proposed in the FY22-23 budget. A pre-requisite to receiving the grant is to develop a Body-Worn Camera Policy and receive approval from Justice & Security Strategies, Inc. The policy will be presented for approval at a later date.
