Approval of grant application for 50% funding of police vests from the Department of Justice

SUMMARY:
Additional grant funding is available to cover 50% of the costs for the purchase of vests for the police officers. These vests are required to be replaced every 5 years to maintain their effectiveness. We plan to request 20 vests to cover the next two years.
