SUMMARY:
The Imagination Library is requesting approval to hold a Run to Read 5K fundraiser and Storybook Character Family and Community Mile Walk on Saturday, April 5, 2014 with the 5K beginning at 8:00 am. The route is attached and would be held on Miller Ave, beginning at the corner of Dayton Ave and going half the length of a 5K route.
The Imagination Library is associated with the Dolly Parton's Birth to Books Foundation, where they provide free books every month to children in Cumberland County ages birth to five years. This race is to raise funds, promote awareness and increase program participation. The mile walk is a free community event.
