As discussed at the work session, each Councilmember will vote for 2 applicants by paper ballot.  All applicants receiving 2 or more votes will go to the next round, where each Councilmember will vote for 1.  The candidate receiving 3 votes in the second or subsequent rounds will be appointed City Judge.

NECESSARY COUNCIL ACTION:  

1.      Approval of procedure for voting for City Judge with paper ballots with the Council voting for two in the first round and one in subsequent rounds until one person receives 3 votes.

2.      Once selected, motion to appoint ______ as City Judge at an annual salary of $12,000.
