Ordinance amending the FY12-13 budget for new City Hall renovations

SUMMARY:

The City Manager, Finance Director, City Clerk, and Director of Engineering are now ready to close the renovation project on the new building.  Any further costs will either come out of existing departmental maintenance accounts or be brought back to Council for authorization.  The recommended budget amendment is in the amount of $115,000, bringing the renovation cost to $2,139,199 (including furnishings of approximately $180,000).  This is approximately $63 per square foot.  With the cost of the building included, the cost per square foot is approximately $119.
