Discussion and action on City of Crossville Team Championship

A vote was held at the December Council meeting regarding sponsorship of the 2015 Team Championship. This failed to pass. Some private sponsorship money in the amount of $5,000.00 has since been secured. The total cost of the sponsorship is approximately $10,000. Because of these donations, the Council is being asked to re-consider continuing with this July event.
BUDGET ACCOUNT:
The event will take place in the 2015 / 2016 budget year so no budget amendment is required.
Recommended Action
Re-consider the 2015 Sponsorship in the amount of $5,000 to match the private donations.
