SUMMARY: The Meadow Park Lake water treatment plant uses a sludge pump to periodically clean their basins. The current pump is between 12 and 14 years old and has broken. Authorization was given for an emergency purchase from a sole source vendor due to the necessity of the pump. The City Manager is requesting formal approval of the purchase authorized on August 23. The 46HST Hydraulic Submersible Trash Pump is $5623 and shipping is $350.
