Discussion and action on J.R. Wauford & Company engineering contract for waterlines

SUMMARY:
A contract amendment has been submitted by J.R. Wauford & Company in the amount of $19,810.60 to cover the additional engineering services caused on the time over-runs of the contractor.
The waterline project being constructed by Norris Brothers is significantly behind schedule. The contract completion date is December 31 2016 and the City is holding retainage on the project in the amount of $52,250.42. At this time, the contractor is working through the punch list and City staff is performing the inspection.
