SUMMARY: The owners of Car Fix are proposing a new service center located on N. Main Street. This is the previous location of Shoney’s. The owners are planning to use the existing driveway to HWY 127. There will be new water and sewer connections. On the site plan, as shown, there will be a new stormwater detention pond. It is currently shown to be over or on the city’s water line. The engineers have been informed that the pond will have to be moved from its current proposed location. City staff has not received the updated stie plan as requested by the time of the agenda summary. The corrected site plan will be presented at the meeting.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the site plan, if the corrected plan has been received prior to the meeting.
