SUMMARY:

The Crossville Regional Planning Commission discussed the Northwest Connector at their January meeting.  They have requested that the Council reconsider the action taken at the January 14^th meeting and continue with the project.

      At the January 14^th meeting, the 3^rd reading of the budget amendment to provide funding for the contracts already approved by Council failed on third and final reading.  In checking with MTAS, any member of Council, regardless of how they voted, can make a motion to "rescind" the vote.  If that motion passes, the motion to pass the ordinance on 3^rd reading may be made again.  If the will of the Council is to rescind the action and re-vote, then the item needs to be on the Council agenda.
