SUMMARY:
Since September 2011, Billy Loggins has been working to provide retail/economic development, as well as performing his normal duties as Marketing Director. During this past 11 months, he has established invaluable contacts and relationships with key people at TVA, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and others important to our business development efforts. These relationships and sources should not be abandoned at this time.
With Council's approval, the City Manager recommends requesting that he continue those duties through June 30, 2013. The established compensation of $500/month can be funded from existing budget. No new funds will be required.
