Approval to accept proposal for Cultural Resources Survey-Meadow Park Lake Expansion

SUMMARY: The City advertised to receive Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to perform a Phase 1 Archaeological Survey for the Meadow Park Lake Expansion Project. The City received 10 qualifications. Kevin Young, the Permit Project Manager with J.R. Wauford, reviewed and ranked the top two qualifications. Kevin Young and City of Crossville Engineering Staff interviewed the two firms via teleconference and chose TRC as the best qualified.
TRC has submitted a fee proposal, that is attached, which includes a Phase 1 lump sum fee of $55,360.00. The Director of Engineering is requesting the authorization for the City to enter into a contract, to be reviewed by the City Attorney, with TRC for the services described in the proposal at a cost not to exceed $55,360.00.
