Ordinance amending FY2014-15 budget for the SCADA Equipment upgrade

SUMMARY: On 10/28/14, we experienced a hard drive failure in the Meadow Park Water Plant SCADA computer, the computer that monitors and records State required water information. We were able to recover 95 percent of the data.
Being that the SCADA machines are critical to required record keeping and that they operate 24/7/365, I would recommend the following expenditures to safeguard the records and to increase reliability.

Dell PowerEdge server hardware - $2729.36
APC SMC 1500 Battery Backup - $ 600.00
