SUMMARY: The current inventory of in car laptops is 5 years old. They have reached the point where it is not feasible to continue to repair, plus finding parts has become difficult. The IT Department recommends replacement with the Getac S400. The Getac has good reviews. We have acquired a demo unit to compare with the Panasonic CF-53. In our opinion, the Getac unit surpasses the Panasonic in design and durability.
There is $60,800.00 budgeted.
