Approval of disposal of surplus police weapons

SUMMARY:
Approval is requested to declare the attached list of items as surplus property and authorize the sale of said property at public auction on August 2 and August 3 to qualified buyers. The items have been awarded to the Police Department by the court system or have been declared abandoned property. Proper procedures have been followed for such disposition on these items. Funds from the sale of these items it to be deposited into the Drug Fund.
BUDGET ACCOUNT: Not applicable.
