Ordinance amending Fire, Building, and related codes to the 2012 editions

SUMMARY:

The State requires that the City operate under codes that are within 6 years of the current edition.  The City currently has adopted the 2009 codes for:

•                     Fire

•                     Life Safety

•                     Building

•                     Residential

•                     Existing Building

•                     Property Maintenance

•                     Accessibility

•                     Plumbing

•                     Energy

The County is in the process of adopting the 2012 codes.  The State recommends that we hold off on the energy code at this time.
