Matters relative to School Avenue and North Street Drainage Project

SUMMARY: This project is comprised of approximately 460 feet of curb and gutter and 370 feet of storm sewer along School Avenue, North Street and Evelyn Avenue (shown in orange on the attached map). The curb and gutter will eliminate the shoulder-less steep eroded ditches along North Street and provide positive storm drainage from the travel lanes into the proposed storm sewer.
This project was proposed by Councilman Souza and the staff has not discussed the project with adjacent property owners.
The estimated cost of materials is approximately $11,500.
