Discussion and action on Interchange Business Park/Site Development pad extension

SUMMARY: The contractor has offered to extend the pad 60 feet to the east for $50,000. This will also provide fill for more pad area to the west. This extra work would allow for two 100,000 square feet buildings with the required spacing between the buildings. It could also be used to increase the building size 15,000 square feet.
No grant money would be available for the additional work and if we decided to move forward, the Grant Agency would need to approve the changes.
The original budget for all work was estimated at $1,000,000 which was $500,000 grant and $250,000 from the City and County. The construction work and the engineering currently totals $908,000.
