Approval of amendment to Joint Economic Development Board Interlocal Agreement on Executive Committee meetings

SUMMARY: March 17, 2003, an Interlocal Agreement Creating A Joint Economic Development Board (JEDB) in Cumberland County, Tennessee was adopted by Cumberland County, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, and Crossville. At that time, it was agreed that the Executive Committee of JEDB would meet eight times per year. Per T.C.A. 6-58-114, only one meeting per quarter is required. At the February 4, 2013 meeting of the executive committee of the JEDB, a motion was passed to recommend to the Crossville City Council and other participating governments to change the Interlocal Agreement to reflect quarterly meetings of the executive committee.
