SUMMARY: Bids were received on June 21, 2022 for the replacement of the traffic signalization at Lantana Rd. and Main St. One bid was received from Stansell Electric Co., Inc. in the amount of $458,797. Staff recommends approval of the bid.
The bid for the traffic signal has been approved by TDOT; however, it is over the consulting engineer’s estimate due to the significant increase in construction costs since the original estimate was submitted.
Surface Transportation Funds will be used to fund the project.
