Approval to name Northwest Connector Sections I and II as Northside Drive and remaining connecting road as Northside Lane

SUMMARY:
City Council requested that the Planning Commission review and make a recommendation to them on the potential annexation of the ROW for Phase I of the Northwest Connector.
On June 19, 2014 the Planning Commission passed a motion to name Sections I and II of the Northwest Connector from Hwy 70W to Hwy 127 "Northside Drive" and to rename the original Northside Drive to "Northside Lane" (Hwy 70N to the new section). The matter was also taken to the Cumberland County Environmental Committee who raised no objections to the names.
