SUMMARY:
A joint public hearing is being held of the Cumberland County Commission and the City Council to inform the public of a proposed tire shredding facility to be located at 302 Maryetta Street in Crossville. Within 30 days of the hearing, both entities will deliberate on the proposed facility to consider approval of the application. In order for the company to proceed with a permit application to the TN Department of Environment and Conservation, both entities must approve, by 2/3 vote, the application. Comments may be received in writing or at the hearing.
