Discussion and Action on Maple Glen Subdivision - Phase I (Final)

SUMMARY:
This is phase one of the Maple Glen Subdivision by Habitat for Humanity. The original preliminary plat was submitted and approved in August 2010 and resubmitted in January 2013 both reviewed and approved by staff and the Planning Commission. This subdivision consists of 19 lots, numbered 39 through 57. The numbering scheme matches the overall numbering for all phases of the project. There are three streets that have been constructed, inspected, and approved by staff. Upon approval of the plat staff will forward a request to City Council for the acceptance of the streets as official City streets. The streets are as follows: Carol Drive, 340 feet / East Fuller Drive, 650 feet / Fuller Court, 185 feet. In addition to the streets, 1,177 feet of six inch water line has been installed, inspected, and approved, as well as 1,175 feet of 4 inch low pressure sewer line.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the plat and to forward a letter to the City Council requesting the acceptance of the 3 roads listed above as official City Streets.
