Title

Ordinance revising § 8-201 et seq. of the Crossville Municipal Code regarding beer

Body

SUMMARY:

As discussed in work session, the entire code on Beer has been reviewed by the City Manager, City Attorney, and Police Chief.  Proposed revisions are the following:

·      8-201 (A) added second sentence to allow for a member to resign

·      8-208 (A) eliminated the requirement that businesses have to submit lists of employees within 72 hours of employment

·      8-209 (B) (2) added last sentence

·      8-209 (B) (3)(4) added last phrase pertaining to 6 months

·      8-210 eliminated the distance requirements

·      8-212 (F) added "or alcoholic beverage" - with the sting, we weren't able to do anything to beer permittees who served liquor to underage

·      8-212 deleted references to pool tables

·      8-213 changed to only pertain to on-premises beer sales and added "or nickname"

·      8-219 removed references to signs in windows and added last sentence
