SUMMARY:

In the event that the City continues to provide building inspections for the County, the City Manager and City Attorney have drafted a new agreement.  The agreement still needs to be amended to address commercial inspections.  It is not planned for approval by City Council until Cumberland County has adopted all the required codes.

At the July 23^rd special called meeting, the Council deferred action on re-establishing the City’s offer to continue building inspections in the County.

Repeal actions taken on May 13, 2014; September 9, 2014; and February 10, 2015

Make new motion to offer to the County that the City continue building inspections for the County, including commercial inspections, under the 2012 building codes.
