Discussion and action on Downtown Waterline Project

SUMMARY: The remaining SRF funds cannot be used on the Brookhaven and Highland Lane Project due to time constraints in acquiring easements. SRF has agreed to let the City use those funds on the downtown waterline northern extension. Along with this good news, TDOT has forced the northern waterline out of the pavement. A new estimate for the new location of the waterline will be available at the work session. This estimate will be followed by change order number 3 with Ironwood Construction. Change order #2 is also requested for approval on the original project to finalize the changes that were made in the field due to unforeseen issues.
