SUMMARY: In 2012 the Police Department purchased a Records Management System from Tri-Tech. The system is incomplete with components missing and has never worked properly. Service has been poor and\or non-existent. A RFP went out for a new software system and we are recommending Alen, Inc Software to take its place at a cost of $21,061 annually. Alen is a lease program and is a cloud based system using the same security protocols as CJIS (Criminal Justice Information System).
