SUMMARY: The City of Crossville accepted bids for a Batwing Finish Mower for the Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Supervisor reviewed all submitted bids, and recommends purchasing the Woods 12’ Finish mower from Mountain Farm International for $8,000. The original purchase price of the mower was $11,500 minus a trade-in value of $3,500 for a Land Pride 16’ Finish mower. Purchase of the mower was not allocated in the 2016/2017 budget. However, funds remain in these accounts (41900-940-003 and 41900-940-004) even after the budgeted items have been purchased.
The City Manager and the Finance Director will need to sign the Fixed Asset Disposal form after permission is granted to purchase mower.
