Approval of Policy for “Request for Qualifications”

SUMMARY: The City Code for professional services is attached and the referenced Tennessee Code is attached. The City has used several processes for selecting firms for professional services and the City staff is uncertain on what process to follow.
At the work session, it was proposed that the policy be that the City Manager will assemble a team to review all RFQ’s and RFP’s with a recommendation of the top three being brought to Council for approval.
