SUMMARY: The City of Crossville accepted bids for a Leaf Vac for the Street Department. The Street Department Supervisor reviewed all options and recommends accepting the bid from CMI Equipment Sales in Nashville, TN in the amount of $40,899.00. In addition to this purchase, the Street Supervisor recommends adding these options to the purchase:
1. 90 degree inlet elbow for improved curbside pickup ($618.00)
2. PTO safety engagement system ($412.00).
NOTE: The low bidder did not meet specifications
The purchase of the Leaf Vac was budgeted for and approved in the 2017-2018 budget. The addition of the options will still be under the original budgeted amount.
