Approval of contract with ECE Services for Dorton Landfill Testing

SUMMARY: The State Inspector has issued a letter to the City stating that the lab filtering sample method is no longer considered applicable for ground water monitoring at the Dorton landfill.
A contract from ECE is attached which includes the additional sampling and the installation of a bladder pump in well #3. The contract additionally has an hourly rate to coordinate future results with TDEC. The contract does not include the additional statistical analysis on the two yearly quarters that were previously not required. This is at an additional cost of $800. The total fixed annual engineering for the landfill testing with ECE is expected to be $13,060 without coordinating results with TDEC.
